MAR ATHANASIUS REHABILITATION CENTRE (MARC) (MAR ATHANASIUS SPECIAL SCHOOL)

Mor Athanasius Rehabilitation center & Special School is a team of dedicated hands helping differently abled students and their families in creating a brighter future. We opened our doors in 2013 in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, to guide hands for differently abled students. We aim to provide the most thorough, tailored strategies to assist each student in reaching their greatest potential in the least restrictive environment possible. We incorporate academic, behavioral, and emotional support to help children develop new skills and improve their talents and confidence.

Our founder, Bishop Mor Aphrem Mathews, designed the initiative for students who failed in traditional education and would benefit from a small, structured, and supportive environment. His vision was realized in 2012 when the Catholicose H.B. Mor Baselios Thomas I laid the foundation stone for a special school in Allapra in the Vengola Panchayat. Later, this kindhearted startup evolved into a huge success.
